    How is the 13% p.a. interest calculated and paid?

    The 13% p.a. (per annum) return is achieved through a weekly interest calculation of 0.25% on eligible funds. Interest accrues weekly and is calculated every Monday for the preceding week. The accumulated interest is then credited to your participating account every four weeks. This compounding results in an annual return of approximately 13%.

  • 2.

    Can I participate with multiple accounts?

    Yes, you can participate with multiple accounts. However, each participating account is assessed independently against the eligibility criteria. For example, if you participate with two accounts (Account A and Account B), and only Account A meets the requirements, only Account A will receive the associated interest. The eligible funds and trading volume from Account B will not be combined with Account A for reward calculations.

  • 3.

    What are "Eligible Funds" and how are they calculated?

    Eligible Funds are calculated daily at 05:30 MT server time by subtracting any credit bonuses from your account equity in the participating account. For example, if your account equity is USD 6,000 and you have a credit bonus of USD 500, your Eligible Funds for that day will be USD 5,500.

    It’s important to note that a minimum of USD 5,000 in Eligible Funds is required to accrue interest. If, for instance, your equity is USD 5,000 with a credit bonus of USD 500, your Eligible Funds would be USD 4,500, and no interest would be accrued for that day.

  • 4.

    Why is my actual interest payout sometimes lower than the projected value in the Client Portal?

    The full interest payout is contingent upon meeting specific daily and weekly criteria. To receive the full weekly interest, you must:

    • Maintain Eligible Funds of at least USD 5,000 on each day of the settlement week.

    • Execute a minimum trading volume of 1 standard lot for every USD 5,000 in Eligible Funds during the settlement week.

    Failure to meet either of these criteria will result in a proportionally lower interest payout for that week.

    • Example A: If you maintain USD 18,000 in Eligible Funds and trade 1 standard lot during the week, your interest will be calculated on USD 5,000 (1 lot per $5,000) resulting in a payout of USD 12.50 (USD 5,000 x 0.25%).

    • Example B: If you maintain USD 18,000 in Eligible Funds and trade 2 standard lots, your interest will be calculated on USD 10,000 (2 lots per $5,000) resulting in a payout of USD 25.00 (USD 10,000 x 0.25%).

    • Example C: If you maintain USD 8,000 in Eligible Funds and trade 2 standard lots, your interest will be calculated on USD 8,000 resulting in a payout of USD 20.00 (USD 8,000 x 0.25%).

    If, for example, you maintain USD 18,000 in Eligible Funds but only trade 2 standard lots, interest will only be calculated on USD 10,000, resulting in a weekly payout of USD 25.00 (USD 10,000 * 0.25%).

  • 5.

    Why didn't I receive an interest payout this week?

    You may not receive an interest payout for a given week if any of the following conditions were not met during the previous settlement week:

    • Your Eligible Funds fell below USD 5,000 on any day.

    • You traded less than 1 standard lot per USD 5,000 in Eligible Funds.

    • You made a withdrawal or internal fund transfer from the participating account.

    • You placed trades in FX, Gold, Silver, or Crude Oil but held them for less than 5 minutes (300 seconds).

    The interest is paid after the completion of the settlement week.

  • 6.

    Why didn't I receive the accumulated interest after the four-week settlement cycle?

    The accumulated interest payment is withheld if all of the following conditions are met at the time of payout:

    • Your participating account balance is zero.

    • No trades have been opened on your participating account within the seven days preceding the payout date.

    • There are no open trading positions on your participating account on the payout date.

Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. This offer is available from 23 April 2024.
  2. VT Markets will offer this to new and existing clients (herein “Participant” or “Client”) at its discretion. If you are not sure about your eligibility, please contact [email protected].
  3. By participating in this offer, the client acknowledges they have read and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and VT Markets’ Terms and Conditions.
  4. To Participate in this offer, the client must:
    1. Opt-in to this offer via the Client Portal.
    2. Select a trading account that is eligible to participate in this offer.
  5. This offer is only applicable to Standard STP, and RAW ECN accounts. Trading accounts denominated in US Cents are not eligible to participate in this offer.
  6. To be eligible to receive the rewards from this offer, the Participant must:
    1. Maintain a daily Eligible Fund that is over $5,000 from Monday to Friday (MT4 server time) within each calendar week (herein “the settlement week”).
    2. Complete a minimum of 1 standard lot per $5,000 eligible fund within the settlement week.

    “Eligible Fund” is defined as the client’s account equity subtracted by any credit bonuses in the account at 5:30 AM MT Server time every day.

  7. Only closed trade of FX, Gold, Silver, and Crude Oil that is held for more than 5 minutes during the offer period will be counted towards this offer.
  8. Participants are entitled to participate with more than one trading account. The requirements and rewards will be calculated on each participation account and cannot be combined. For example, if a client participates with two accounts (account A and account B) and successfully fulfils the requirements for account A but not for account B, they will receive the rewards for account A only.
  9. Qualified participants will receive a reward that is equal to 0.25% of their Eligible Fund on a weekly basis.
  10. The reward will be settled into the participant’s trading account every 4 calendar weeks (“settlement cycle”).
  11. As a participant, you will be disqualified from getting the rewards from the previous week if:
    1. You fail to maintain your daily Eligible Fund of over $5,000 during the previous settlement week.
    2. You fail to complete the trading requirement during the previous settlement week.
    3. Any withdrawal/internal transfer made from the participation account during the previous calendar week.

    Participants will not lose eligibility to get any further rewards from this offer if they fail to get rewards from any week due to not being able to fulfill the requirement.

  12. VT Markets will withhold and reserve the right to cancel your reward from the previous settlement cycle if the following conditions are met on the day we credit the reward amount to you:
    1. The account balance of your participation account is 0 on the settlement day, and
    2. No trades opened on your participation account within the last 7 days from the settlement day, and
    3. No active trading positions on your participation account on the settlement day.
  13. The trading volume used to apply for this offer may not be used to apply for any other offer provided by VT Markets.
  14. The Eligible Fund requirement is USD-based. We will convert your Eligible Fund amount accordingly if your participation account is not denominated in USD.
  15. VT Markets shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special, or consequential loss or loss of profits), cost, expense, or damage that is suffered or sustained in connection (directly or indirectly) with the use of the Offer.
  16. This offer can be retracted at any time of VT Markets’ choosing and account eligibility will be subject to our discretion.
  17. In the event of any dispute or situation not explicitly addressed within these Terms, VT Markets will exercise its sole discretion to arrive at a resolution.
